you may have fish every year
Soft pastel on sanded paper

Colour and light are integral elements explored throughout my artwork. I seek to create drawings that employ the dynamic qualities inherently found within various colour and light combinations.
Regularly used in conjunction with the subject of water - through its movement and stillness - light and colour are affected; blurring, obscuring and reflecting its environment, giving each work its own unique aura.
This artwork was chosen for its colours and the challenge of creating the movement of the fish and the water in a still two-dimensional space.
This artwork is currently on display at Artofact Gallery in Picton.
